When Theresa and I cleaned out our closet last summer, we found one tie with 100 crossees on it, and another with every book of the Bible in small print. I don't think Rob ever wore either, but the back of our closet is full of suits, ties, etc., from the "dress code" days.

This is interesting, 98 is when I got back in church. My home church became very relaxed as far as a dress code (spoken or not spoken). Granger is casual now correct?
I have debated within myself about what I would wear to preach on a regular basis. I think it will be how I feel that day.

kem - what you might find additionally interesting is the Way Back Machine (see my blog post at http://thedigitalsanctuary.textdriven.com).
Granger came on in May 2001, I believe, and you can see what the web pages looked like....after the dress code was relaxed!

I was wearing really bad maternity clothes. And I'll never have to do that again. Woot! Woot!

Some of the ties I used to wear to those Sunday morning services in 1998 are still hanging in my closet.

I had my girbauds, my preppy polo shirt and those little leather boot-but-not-boot type of shoes... I forget what they're called. And the Texas bangs.
Ahh...the year after high school.
Memories.
