New Resources
Relevant Church is shaking things up. And, they live up to their name; they're being relevant AND they're being the church. I met some of their guys last year at Innovate. They're great. Check out "Real Men of Genius". It's hysterical promo they did for their church. And, you may have heard of them from all the media attention they're getting for their 30 Day Sex Challenge.
- Here's something cool: They just partnered with us to make their series resources available online. Great stuff.
I get lots of questions about how to "do" web sites. Here's the secret: before you can make web sites, you've got to make paper. The paper is the blueprint that allows you to not only build an effective web site, but also implement the maintenance plans to keep it working. We spent the past couple of months gathering a bundle of our web planning and strategy documents. It's what we use to build and support GCCwired.com; on the front (site) and back (database) end.
- We just posted that Web Bundle last week and it's available for download. You have a place to start and don't have to start from scratch.
The budget nazi in my house put me on the envelope system. It makes me appreciate "real money". Which is why I'm sharing this tip with you. Register now for these workshops we're hosting on the GCC campus, Friday May 30. Early bird discount ends April 30. You've got till then to save real money.
- EnterMission: Rob shows how a church can make missions both a life- and world-changing ministry: local outreach and international.
- Getting a Grip on Groups: Kathy shares how to move to a holistic approach to groups where we don't program and communicate small groups are for normal people and support groups are for screwed up people.
- First Impressions: Mark builds teams and exercises to create wow experiences to make lasting impressions in churches and life.
- Volunteers: Tim has learned a little something about how to motivate, invite and encourage lasting volunteers that take ministry to new levels.
- Tech Arts Forum: Spend the day with Adam in an informal, interactive round table environment.

The "Real Men of Genius" videos are pretty funny. Smart of them to post the videos on YouTube as well.

Cool to see Wiredchurches expand...
I might pick up that web bundle, now that I'm knee deep in re-imagining of our website...
