A couple of weeks ago, the search widget on my blog stopped working. I went shopping for a new one, and per Tim's recommendation, I tried out Lijit. WOW! I love it.
It was easy to install, feature-rich and easy to use. As a blog reader, I'm happy with the search results. As a blog publisher, I'm happy with the stats.

After using it for a week, I got a personal email from a Lijit employee thanking me for installing the widget. (You're welcome.) They were just checking in to see if the app was working ok for me and to find out if there was anything else I needed to be successful. But, here's what pushed me over the edge. Instead of some generic follow-up correspondence, they actually put some research into my content and briefly spoke to the specific subject I write about on my blog.

I would like to begin by saying that I like your enthusiasm and dedication to the church, it is really rare to see that these days. I really would love to volunteer for a program in my community but, I don’t know where to start and how to go about finding a program and become active in it. Any suggestions you have or resources you use would be most helpful.

Consider me a fan. It appears the people at Lijit really do care about making this a product that’s helpful for their customers, because they actually spent a minute getting to know a little bit about one of their customers. It doesn't take much effort, but sadly, that's SO rare these days.
