ha! i love it...i love the creativity of my kids when it comes to cards...my oldest son drew a card based on all the stickers on my laptop...

So cute....so true. I also have a son and daughter very close in age. From the time my kids were small, I asked them for a poem or letter in stead of a gift. My son is the poet (but always fills every line on a page of lined paper)....today at 21 he still gives me my poem for mothers day and my birthday (and he has grown into a songwriter!)...my daughter prefers letters with flowers and feather and adornment and writes about our relationship...etc. She is now 20 and I have a thick book of treasures! I pass that along as an idea....
