It's not that people hate change. They just hate the way you're trying to change them. (via Michael T. Kanazawa) If you're not getting the results you're looking for, change your approach.

Makes me think of William Glasser's Hierarchy of needs - survival is at the bottom of the pyramid, but "fun" is at the top. I work with the Kids Hope USA program with at-risk children, and in the mentor training, we emphasize the importance of the fun aspect of the students' experiences. I love these examples!
