I think this is the best and most basic description of my job.
- Untangle the lines of communication.
[Ironically enough, I'm the one who tangles the lines of communication from time to time. Just last week I had conversations with a couple of team members who brought it to my attention. "You're confusing us!" I did the only thing I could do...I gave myself a time out.]
And, this describes my ultimate M.O.
- Concerned about the ever-growing number of people disconnected from God and the Church, I learn about them, understand their reasons for leaving and/or staying away and figure out what we need to change to help engage them in the conversation.
That's good, isn't it? I thought so, too. I wish it was mine, but it wasn't. It belongs to the Connect Conferences.
I was inspired by their copy. I resonated with it. It appealed to my purpose and what makes my heart beat fast.
