There’s a new collaborative effort that just launched over on Shrinkthechurch.com. What a great resource and inspiration for church leaders, communicators, designers, worship/creative artists and social media advocates. I LOVE the conversation they’re facilitating.
- Shrink grandioseness (become more personal)
- Shrink expenditures (optimize financial resources)
- Shrink communication methods (combine the right message with the right tools for the right people at the right time)
- Shrink the web (use social media tools, effective content and simple usability and design methods to make the web more personal)
- Shrink assimilation (effectively close the back door as people begin to naturally connect, serve and immerse themselves in the local body)
A few of my friends are helping the launch with some articles to get the conversation going. Great thought leadership from Brian Wurzell, Chris Marlow, Ron Merrell, Scott McClellan, Carlos Whittaker, and more.
I joined the party and wrote an article about The Oblivious Boycott. I’d love to hear your thoughts. Leave a comment to share your questions or insights.
Great workshop Kem! So practical and easy to understand... bought the book -- now I need the T-Shirt!
