5. We get to give Easton a custom-made Lego engineering table for his birthday. He's going to flip out.
6. I get to go to the dermatologist. We've been having quite a few melanoma scares around the office and this was the first available appointment for a "full-body mole inspection". I'm obsessing about every dot on my skin until I can get in.
9. We're having our all-church baptism at Coveleski Stadium. Talk about a party! Baptism on the baseball field? I love it.
11. Winter swim season starts and runs through March. The kids' team just won their summer league championship today.Chlorine is good for the soul. I believe that. If you're a swimmer, you'll know what I'm talking about.
13-14. I'm taking a good chunk of my team down to MinistryCOM. Have you seen the schedule? If you run point or are a stakeholder for communications in your church... figure out a way to get down to Nashville. Even if you can't name one Loretta Lynn song... get down there.
26. Erin, my oldest daughter, turns 19. One more year of life under her belt. She's a trip and she keeps me real. And, I'll be leading Web Strategy workshop on the same day.
27 & 28. Innovate 2007!! I've haven't met someone who's experienced the Innovate conference at GCC and hasn't walked away changed. It is one of a kind. And, it's the Grand Finale of what I'm looking forward to in September.
